There is something spectacular about people who intentionally go against the current and accept the fact that swimming up stream will not always be comfortable and will never be easy. Christie is one of those few. Everything about her tells a story. She is a beauty inside and out... even with a stocking on her head or when she feels the need to bust a move to some dub step in the kitchen "white girl style" :]
Christie teaches me to look beyond who I feel I have to be, and to search for the inner courage to be whoever I want.

I LOVE it! I love how your pictures and the poetry snippets capture her personality. It really is so refreshing to see a "real" person, especially after all the fake stuff that society throws at us, especially at women.
