These things are the coolest, most adorable, and affordable gifts! A friend told me about them and once I checked them out I had to share!!
Basically, there are teeny tiny packages with little messages on a strip of paper and a little object relating to the message under the miniature newspaper! Take a look.

2. Who needs flowers when you can make a Bacon Bouquet!!
Men like bacon. That's all there is to it.
And if your fella doesn't like bacon???

My mother made my father a BLT bouquet for Valentine's last year and interspersed the bacon roses she made with lettuce for greenery and grape tomatoes to accent! Needless to say, my father liked it.
